Theaters we checked with Friday in Greenville said they were not canceling showings of the new Batman movie despite the deadly shooting in Colorado.
Some movie goers we talked with said they opted for the matinee Friday instead of later shows because of the shooting.
Travis Wester told us, "It's a terrible tragedy but I really just think it's an isolated incident and I know that the theaters are cracking down and everything, so I wasn't really worried about bringing my kids here this morning."
Others like Joel Nicholson said they never thought twice about canceling their movie plans. "It just seems like these sort of things happen in big cities, so I wasn't too concerned. Maybe later at night I would be concerned but no, I'm not too worried."
