Last Sunday Voting In Pitt County Before Election Day

Pitt County voters can cast ballots Saturday from 8 a.m. Until 1 p.m at the county's four early voting locations: Pitt county Agricultural Center, 403 Government Circle; Winterville Fire Station, 2593 Railroad St.; The Center at Alice F. Keene Park, 4561 County Home Road; and the PATS Office, County Office Building, 1717 West Fifth Street .

Voters also can cast ballots Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at the Keene Park Center. It's the only Sunday between now and election day that voting will take place. Early voting ends next Saturday at 1 p.m.

This weekend is the second time Pitt County has opened a polling place on Sunday since the 2008 presidential elections.

I agree with Rusty. This early voting may offer flexibility, it certainly opens up opportunity for fraud. EVERYONE should have to produce valid ID to vote. This one stop voting is a joke. It is to easy for a person to vote more than once. If it was up to me, you would have to take an IQ test to vote.

To Taxation without Representation: Unless you're a felon you can vote in the county you do live in, no one should have more than one vote. I don't trust early voting, I feel the longer they have my ballot without counting it the more opportunity for fraud. I'll wait until the actual election day to cast my vote.

I own property in Pc and pay taxes but can't vote because I don't sleep in PC. Something wrong with this picture.

Thank you to all of the great citizens for operating the voting sites.

Glad they make voting easier by opening the polling places at more times than 7am to 7pm on one single day. One single day of voting is an asinine idea to begin with. Like the population has not got things to do, or want to wait in long lines on one day.

Vote! This country should not be for sale. If you stay home the big money wins
