People looking for work are expected to head to Pitt Community College today for a job fair.
A job fair is scheduled at Pitt Community College inside the Goess Center today, from 9:00 am until 1:30 pm this afternoon.
Organizers say there will be hiring employers from Pitt, Wilson, Edgecombe, Nash and Halifax counties.
The event is sponsored by Rep. Jean Farmer-Butterfield, Rep. Marian Mc Lawhorn and Rep. Edith Warren, in partnership with the North Carolina Department of Commerce-Division of Workforce Solutions, The Turning Point Workforce Development Board and The Region Q Workforce Development Board.
