Greenville Robbery Suspects Charged In Raleigh Shooting Death

Four men accused in the robbery of a Greenville Food Lion have now been charged in the shooting death of a Raleigh tobacco shop owner.

20-year-old Steven Cooley, 21-year-old Demario Williams, 21-year-old Kwamane Everett and 20-year-old Dariel Haddock are now charged with murder and robbery.

They are charged in the death of 39-year-old Majid Mohram was shot back in December at the M3 Tobacco Store. Warrants say Mohram's wallet, cell phone, and about $300 dollars were taken.

Police say the break in the case came when investigators noticed similarities in a January robbery in Greenville where four men had been arrested.

In that incident the four were charged with common law conspiracy, conspiracy of robbery with a dangerous weapon, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and second degree kidnapping.

They were all given a $1 million dollar bond at the time of their arrest.

I am disgusted by the racist and ignorant comments tolerated on this board and WITN allowing this to continue. This is a tragedy all the way around, to the victim's family and the families of the accused. We have a justice system set up by the American people and if folks don't like the way it is set up then do something to change it instead of sitting around making mindless and racist comments. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? I would love to see if the same sort of comments are made on the stories about white criminals?

    1. If the Arab man had been in his on country he would not have been shot in Raleigh. might have been shot somewhere else but not in Raleigh 2. if he tossed them a basketball he could have slipped away while they were dribbling the ball.now liberal court appointed lawyer you got your defense run with it.3.all they got to do now is pick up one more and they got a basketball team.

I have been harping on this for years now, so one more time: It starts with the fatherless culture of welfare and an unfounded sense of entitlement. The leftist school system makes it worse by droning the sense of victimization into their heads for unsavory events that took place hundreds of years ago. The first sysmptoms are poor school behavior, poor academic performance (due in part to low expectations) littering, window tint, loud obnoxious rap, drug use, and property crime. If you don't get a handle on it early, it just gets bigger and worse. The crime wave that has been driving eastern NC down the drain is not entirely the result of a huge number of random acts, although more people are participating than there used to be. It's generally the same people over and over. Start with regular, everyday, old-fashioned law enforcement, successful and thorough investigation and prosecution of low-level crimes. Call, write, and email your local, state, and federal representatives in government and ask to have ridiculous and ineffective welfare programs cut back. Some inroads must be made into the "children for checks" syndrome. If the welfare agencies actually did their stated jobs, they would have been sent home long ago for lack of work. The welfare system has been a massive failure, and needs failure to continue. The agencies only get to stay in business if they produce more of this. It's only going to get worse as government takes over more and more aspects of more peoples' lives (like healthcare).

LOCK THEM UP FOR LIFE! These low class citizens are nothing but junk and they deserve everything they get. i hope they either save my oxygen and give death penalty or give them life in prison. (which wastes my tax dollars) so i prefer option 1. They were not raised in nice families and they are thugs and losers.

You know nothing about the families,I know for a fact one was raised in a nice hard working family with 2 of their other children in college on full scholarships,so every wrong choice a person makes is not because they weren't taught right,so stop being racist and shut your mouth about things you don't know!

I'm confused...2-men on video,1-shooter, yet 4 men being charged??Just because you commit one crime, don't mean you commit them ALL!!Since when did having "similarities" make you a murderer. Can we have EVIDENCE please-my bad, they are still investigating..UMH, don't sound right to me. In one breath we hear the 2 suspects are locked up, then the next breath, 4. Are we really listening or are we just happy to hear someone is being charged? GUESS IT'S GUILTY AND PROVE YOUR INNOCENCE instead of the other way around. If 2 entered the store, let 2 be charged. Let GOD be the judge (that way, it's a fair trial)

If the other two were in the getaway car, then they were lookouts and/or driver. That makes them guilty of murder IF that is the case. Others besides the two that enter the store can be involved and can be guilty.

What winners. Marcel, DeMario, Kwamane, and Dariel. Hopefully there's not a ReMarcel, Remario, Rekwamane or a Redariel in the world yet. Greenville exporting crime again. Give em all the death penalty.

Now we just have to wait and see how long it takes for the NAACP to get involved. Haven't heard anything from that useless group in a while.
