Greenville police are investigating a homicide. They are now looking for the victim's car.
Around 4:30 p.m. Saturday officers responded to a report of a dead person at 908 Douglas Avenue. Relatives of the victim, 57-year-old David Knox of Greenville, reported they had stopped by the home to visit and found Knox dead in the home.
Police say the death appeared suspicious and detectives from the Major Crimes Unit were called to the scene.
Detectives have developed leads in the case and the death is being investigated as a homicide at this time.
Police are now looking for Knox’s car, a gray 2002 Mazda with NC plate # WZX-4563.
Police say an autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
