Greenville Police Investigate Attempted Strong Arm Robbery

Greenville police are investigating an attempted strong arm robbery that occurred in the parking lot of a credit union Saturday night.

According to an ECU text alert it happened at 8 p.m. at the State Employees Credit Union located on 1st Street and Green Street.

The alert says after a brief confrontation the suspects fled. No weapons were reported. The female victim told police when they demanded money she hit the gas and took off. She was not injured.

The victim described the suspects as two black males, one wearing a black hoodie and the second suspect wearing a red hoodie.
