Greenville police have released more information about the arrests of two men from Martin County.
Police say Shannondor Wiggins and Lacravia Collier, both of Hamilton, were arrested Wednesday after an investigation into an armed robbery during a drug deal. Police say the two suspects were trying to sell what they said was crack cocaine. The possession and sale of counterfeit drugs is a violation just the same as actually selling illegal drugs.
Both are charged with armed robbery, carrying a concealed weapon and possession with intent to sell and distribute a counterfeit controlled substance. Their bonds were set at $250,000.
Police say that the investigation is ongoing, and there may be additional arrests.
