A group of Greenville officials went to Raleigh yesterday to talk with city officials about their methods of combating crime in the southeastern Raleigh.
Mayor Allen Thomas, City Manager Wayne Bowers, Mayor Pro-Tem Rose Glover, Chief William Anderson and members of the Greenville Police Department command staff met with Raleigh’s Police Chief Harry Dolan and other city leaders to discuss community and government partnerships, crime fighting initiatives, and long term strategies.
Greenville officials say the mayor and city staff felt the meeting was a success and beneficial to current city council goals and look forward to building on the successes produced in southeast Raleigh.
