The search for a man considered armed and dangerous is over in Greenville.
Michael Tyson, 22, is booked in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $65,000 bond. Police announced Friday they had a warrant for Tyson's arrest for an rmed robbery on April 12 near the intersection of Larkin Lane and Hooker Road in Greenville. Police say Tyson used a gun to demand money of two men in a vehicle.
The victims were two local college students: 22-year-old Justin Wright, an ECU student, and 24-year-old Jonathon Marsigli, a Pitt Community College student.
Tyson was scheduled to make a first court appearance on Monday morning.

Police say 22-year-old Justin Wright, an ECU student, and 24-year-old Jonathon Marsigli, a Pitt Community College student, arranged to meet Tyson to buy illegal drugs. They say Tyson got into the back seat of Marsigli's car, pulled out a gun and stole $100 and a cell phone. Police say one shot was fired during the robbery, but no one was injured.
Greenville police say Tyson is considered armed and dangerous and has a criminal record of drug and probation violations. He is known to frequent the areas of Verdant Drive and Kennedy Circle in Greenville. Tyson is being charged with 1 count each of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of a Firearm by Felon, and Discharging a Firearm inside a vehicle, in this case.
Police say the two victims, Wright and Marsigli, may also face charges.
