Surveillance Photos Released In Greenville Waffle House Robbery

Two robbers in masks held up a Waffle House in Greenville early Tuesday morning.

Greenville police spokeswoman Kristen Hunter says the armed robbery happened at the Memorial Drive location across from Guy Smith Park near the hospital around 12:20 a.m.

The two thieves wore masks, and one used a gun to demand money. Several employees were there during the hold up, but no one got hurt.

"Officers were able to gather significant evidence and leads very early on," Hunter said, noting the case is still under investigation.
