If you live in Greenville, you may see a few people wearing orange vests taking a look around your property.
Those surveyors are part of an assessment team combing properties city-wide looking for issues pertaining to water quality, flooding, and erosion control.
Members of the stormwater team are also handing out a questionnaire to get your feedback on challenges you may deal with or see during heavy rains.
Once this initial research is done, the city said it will recommend and prioritize projects to help control flooding, stabilize streams, and improve water quality not just for Greenville, but also surrounding communities.
The City said after the initial surveying, it will host public events to keep residents up to speed on the projects for the watershed master plan.
