Greenville Police said they were called to a sweepstakes business before 4 a.m. Tuesday after a man held the place up at gunpoint.
Officials tell WITN they were called to the H&L Enterprises at 1501 Evans Street around 3:50 a.m. Tuesday for the report of an armed robbery.
Officers are currently looking for the gunman who is described as a slender, 6' tall, young and light-skinned black man with hazel colored eyes. The robber was wearing dark clothing and a hoodie at the time of the robbery along with a coat trimmed in yellow and gold.
Officials said the robber had a chrome colored handgun.
Police said the man did get away with an undetermined amount of cash, running toward Howell Street.
No injuries were reported.
The same business was the victim of an armed robbery on December 4th of 2012. In that instance, police said there were two gunmen. However, the manager on duty fired his weapon, and both robbers took off. No arrests were reported in that case.
