NEW INFO: ECU Skateboarder Struck By Vehicle

Police said an East Carolina University student was hit by a vehicle as he was skateboarding Tuesday morning.

Sergeant Joe Friday with Greenville Police said the pedestrian was crossing the street at Charles and 10th when he was hit by the vehicle.

The ECU student was transported to Vidant Medical Center, where it was discovered he suffered a broken leg from the accident. Police said the driver will not be charged in the accident.
