A suspected drug dealer is behind bars, also accused of assaulting an officer.
Sheldon Dancy, 36, of Greenville was booked in the Pitt County Detention Center Thursday. Dancy is charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a public officer, along with possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana, and other drug charges.
Dancy's bond was set at $100,000.
