It's a disturbing story of a break in, vandalism and theft, and it all happened at one local church.
According to Greenville police reports, the break in at Last Days Tabernacle Temple happened sometime between Sunday evening and Wednesday afternoon.
Members tell WITN the suspect or suspects stoke a keyboard, amp and a microphone from the church.
Deacon Marvin Howard said, "For someone to have no fear and just break in the house of the Lord and just steal stuff, it's just it's ridiculous. It really is."
Howard said he was shocked and hurt when he saw the damage.
"I feel more sorry for the perpetrator that did it," said Howard. At the same time, I'm praying for them also. It's just the time that we're living in."
Police value the stolen items at about $700.
