Police say a glass divider and a locked door foiled an attempted armed robbery Thursday night at a takeout pizza business.
Greenville police say a man came into the Domino's Pizza on Dickinson Avenue Extension around 10:25 p.m. and pointed a handgun.
They say he tired to open a door into the employee working area, but it was locked. There is also a glass divider that separates the lobby from the work area.
Police say because the man couldn't access the employee area, he ran from the business and nothing was taken.
The black man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and had a white bandanna over his face, according to police.
