A man who was shot in broad daylight earlier this month is now behind bars.

Twenty-one-year-old Jamar Clark is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury and discharging a weapon in the city. Clark's bond was set at $150,000.

Greenville Police said Clark was shot on May 3 during a shootout outside the Riverbluff apartment complex. Police say he is a member of the Bloods gang. A fellow gang member, Rontrell Hooks, was charged with shooting Clark. Hooks remains behind bars in Greenville.
