School is out for the summer, but it doesn't mean your child has to stop learning.

The Little Willie Center in Greenville is running a free summer empowerment camp for kids ages 3 to 17.

The camp runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Camp Organizer Melissa Alston says the goal is to help keep kids off the streets and instead have them learn, have fun, and grow spiritually. "They know that they are safe, they know where they are, they know that they are treated with love and treated with respect, and then they are taught discipline and then the Bible study components."

Right now 35 campers are enrolled but he program can hold up to 50 kids. If you are interested you can contact the Little Willie Center at . The camp runs through August 3rd.
