To all of you not wanting to put the blame on the law enforsement agencies. What do you think the answer is? It is no secret or surprise that this is a daily event in Greenville. No the cop can't be in more than one place So call some overseas troops home to help peace keeping and law enforcement for their own country. When you see Obama tell him will you please?

I worked at that Hardees, yeah, I quit when someone threatened to shot me. No cops were called, nothing happened. I just couldn't enjoy life for a few months after that.

Maybe they should hire the guy from the Pizza Hut in Charlotte.

i have no love for chief anderson, but everyone should also consider that our increased crime rate is also related to the recession and not just bad law enforcement. the more people there are out of work, the higher the crime rate will be. the more people there are in poverty, the higher the crime rate will be. there are a lot of factors at play here, and getting a new police chief will not address all of them.

all these soft heart judges keep letting these people off for first offenses and no room in jails. We as citizens are going to have to take things in our own hands and defend ourselves. report things that just are not right and stand on guard. Be ready and able to defend yourselves at all times. Don't be a sissy and wait for someone else to do it for you. they are risking their lives for us but are not GOd and can not be at three places at one time. so be a big girl or boy and quit whinning.

another armed robbery in Greenville? say it isnt so? sounds like it is time to send in the Marines. They cleaned up the streets of Fallujah, I dont think Greenville would be a problem for them.

So Anonymous I guess there is no reason to even try to stop these thugs? I'll tell how to fix the problem though. Get rid of all the welfare give away programs and the largest part of the problem will go away. But we all know that isn't going to happen. Too many votes on the line.

Amen to Citizen an On Notice! It has gotten to be a regular daily way of life in your once great city. It is very obvious that the local law enforcement or should I say unenforcement is very ineffective. I don't understandthe residents continue to tolerate and accept this.

It is amazing to me that some of the posts on here blaming the police chief for this restaurant being robbed. The GPD can't be everywhere at the same time and the businesses have to take some responsibility themselves for keeping their establishments safe. These thugs are going to continue until they get caught and when they do the next thug is going to pick up where that one left off. The citizens in Greenville need to step up to the plate and report anything suspicious to the GPD instead of turning the other way.
