An Eastern Carolina woman who's homeless took a giant step in turning her life around when she graduated from college Friday night.
Queen McClease, 30-years-old, lost her job two years ago and has been living in her vehicle with her partner and 8-year-old daughter for about a year.
While looking for work, McClease also attended school at Miller-Motte College in Greenville to get her diploma in massage therapy.
McClease would study, sleep, and head to class in her SUV all because she wanted to have a better life for her daughter and herself.
Mcclease says when she gets her license from the state board she wants to start her own mobile massage clinic.
