The driver of a Jeep Cherokee was injured after her SUV flipped over several times this afternoon in Pitt County.
The Highway Patrol tells us Black Jack Simpson Road was closed down for a while after the 3:30 p.m. crash.
Trooper David Swanson says the SUV was northbound and for some reason struck the edge of a private drive, then struck a ditch and flipped several times and landed on its side in the ditch.
Swanson says the woman was doing the speed limit and she suffered non-life threatening injuries. No one else was in the SUV.
