Searching for educational, financial and even health care information can be a difficult find. Now a local church has set up a center to help people get that information under one roof.
Monday was the opening day for the Koinonia Christian Church Development Center.
It began as a vision by Bishop Rosie O'Neal in 2011. She wanted a place for local homeless veterans to get assistance.
The center is a place for anyone to come in around Greenville, Pitt County and surrounding areas with any need. It's a free resource, and is a partnership between local agencies and the people that need their services.
The center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Red Oak Strip Mall on Greenville Boulevard. That is located directly across from the church.
