Sunday night's triple homicide in Farmville has taken the community by surprise.
Everyone we spoke to along Highway 121 says they've been to the Hustle Mart at some point--and knew the 3 workers killed to be extremely kind. One resident we spoke to says she was at the Hustle Mart just an hour before the shootings, and had no idea it would be the last time she'd see the men.
"I mean you raise your children up here in this community and to hear something like this- I mean it's baffling. I mean it hits down home," said Hustle Mart customer Nicole Adams.
The youngest victim is 16-year-old Sam Almujanahi who was a student at Farmville Central High School.
The Pitt County Schools system says a crisis team was sent to the high school to talk with any students or faculty that need to talk about the deaths.
