He appeared to be a cool, calm customer but instead Police say he stole cold-hard cash out of a local store in the east.
Grifton Police say it happened Friday morning around 8:30 at the Dollar General store on Highland Blvd.
Chief Bryan Cauley says, the suspect entered the office and grabbed money that was on the desk inside the office.
The suspect bought a bag of chips before he left the store walking south out of the business. No one inside the store witnessed the theft. T
he manager discovered the money missing when she later went into the office
Surveillance tape showed the black male, approximately six feet tall, maybe
a little taller, wearing black and white athletic shoes, blue jean shorts,
and a dark colored short sleeve pull over shirt with gold or yellow collars.
