An autopsy says a Greenville teenager died from drowning Thursday afternoon.
Police say the 14 year old was swimming with several friends in the pool at Rollinwood, a townhouse community on Rollins Drive . The pool has no lifeguards and a police news release says at some point the teen went under the water and did not come back up.
The Medical Examiner's Office confirms the victim's name was Laquan Hines. Pitt County Schools say the teen was a student this past year at E.B. Aycock Middle School in Greenville and was slated to attend South Central High School in August.
Police say they have no reason to suspect any foul play in Hines' death.
