Four lucky kids got the chance to turn their business ideas into a reality Saturday in Greenville.
It took place at the Greenville Mall. Kids submitted their business ideas to a Facebook contest called "Kids Inc." The submissions were then voted on and the top four got to sell their products at their own mall kiosk.
Business idea finalist Aaleyah Garris said, "I like candy and I thought other children might like candy, so I made it Aaleyah's Candy Land."
Contest organizer Cheryl Roach said, "They are the next generation of kids that are going to start the businesses that are going to be fluent here in Pitt County and all over the country, so we wanted to see what they had come up with."
Voting took place over a 2 week period. More than a dozen ideas were submitted.
