Drivers on a busy road in Greenville will need some extra time when road work gets underway later this week.
Work will begin at 8 a.m. Thursday to widen and resurface Stantonsburg Road between the U.S. 264 overpass and U.S. 264. There will be lane closures. The Department of Transportation says crews will work from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on weekdays until the job is done. If the weather cooperates, it should be finished by May 3rd.
