Construction crews that built the new Children's Hospital at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville made a special return visit Thursday.
Employees of T. A. Loving collected thousands of toys and delivered them to kids who are spending time in the hospital during the holidays. The company is based out of Goldsboro. The toys were delivered on a flatbed trailer pushed by a tractor to kids who were healthy enough to come outside and pick their own presents. Others were delivered to kids rooms and made for plenty of holiday smiles.
This is the third year the company has given toys to pediatric patients for Christmas.
