Criminal charges against ECU men's basketball player Shamarr Bowden have been dropped, according to a Greensboro TV station's website.
Bowden was arrested on April 30th by the U.S. Marshal's office on gun charges. Bowden allegedly fired a gun in the air during an Easter weekend party in Rochester, New York.
The junior guard had been suspended indefinitely from the team following the arrest.
