June 6, 2013 The 2013 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals poster child featured on the telethon last weekend on WITN can now be seen on boxes of Kellogg's Rice Krispies Treats.
Nine-year-old Lucas Moore of Bear Grass in Martin County was involved in a car accident in October of 2012 where he suffered life-threatening injuries. He has made a remarkable recovery since then and is back to doing the things he loves.
Kellogg's has teamed up with CMN to raise money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals by featuring stories of miracle kids on the boxes of some of its products.
Lucas' story is on the back of Rice Krispies Treat boxes and Wednesday he was autographing them at the Food Lion in Williamston.
The special boxes will be sold at area Food Lion stores with a portion of the sales supporting CMN.
