A Pitt County bail bondsman is accused of soliciting business in an undercover sting at the jail.
Faylene Little of Winterville is charged with two counts of solicitation by a bail bondsman.
The North Carolina Department of Insurance says the woman is accused of soliciting bail bond business from two undercover investigators while in the Pitt County Detention Center. They say the investigation began after jail officials reported a growing problem with bondsmen soliciting business at the detention facility, which is against state law.
Little was arrested on Monday and she was given a $5,000 unsecured bond. Her court date is June 7th.
