A Pitt County grand jury today indicted three men for the triple murder at a Farmville convenience store and two other men for a double homicide last month in Greenville.
Court officials say Antwan Anthony of Bethel, Xavier Shamble of Farmville and Willie Whitehead of Pinetops were all indicted on three counts of murder, kidnapping and robbery.
26-year-old Nabil Almoganahi, 24-year-old David Alawi, and 16-year-old Sam Almoganahi were shot and killed at their family owned store, the Hustle Mart, during a robbery on April 1st.
The case against a fourth person in the Hustle Mart murders is being handled in juvenile court.
In another case, Montrell Washington of Washington and Kuante Stanley of Belhaven were indicted for the Academy Drive double murders. The two men were indicted on two counts of murder and robbery.
29-year-old Shakeyta Woolard of Greenville and 27-year-old Keri Kenlaw of Washington were shot to death on March 23rd. Their bodies were found in their Academy Drive home which had been ransacked.
