The fifth person arrested in the triple murder in Farmville made her first court appearance Wednesday morning.

A judge held Zipporah Purvis's bail at $3 million and set her next court date for May 10.

Purvis was arrested at her home in Farmville Tuesday and charged with three felony counts of accessory after the fact.

Three other suspects in the case were indicted by a grand jury earlier this week. The case of a fourth suspect is being handled in juvenile court.

Zipporah Purvis, 27, of Farmville, remained behind bars early Wednesday under a $3 million dollar bond. She is charged with three felony counts of accessory after the fact.

Sheriff Neil Elks says their investigation shows the 27-year-old woman helped the suspects avoid arrest after the murders of 26-year-old Nabil Almoganahi, 24-year-old David Alawi, and 16-year-old Sam Almoganahi on April 1.

Sheriff Elks says more arrests are still possible.

Deputies say they have made a fifth arrest in the death of three convenience store workers in Farmville.

Pitt County deputies say Zipporah Purvis was arrested at her home in Farmville today on a charge of accessory after the fact.

Sheriff Neil Elks says their investigation shows the 27-year-old woman helped the suspects avoid arrest after the murder of the three workers. “In any investigation, if you conceal information about the crime, or you help the suspect in any way allude arrest, then you are an active participate,” said Sheriff Elks.

26-year-old Nabil Almoganahi, 24-year-old David Alawi, and 16-year-old Sam Almoganahi were shot and killed at their family owned store, the Hustle Mart, during a robbery on April 1st.

Antwan Anthony of Bethel, Xavier Shamble of Farmville and Willie Whitehead of Pinetops were indicted Monday on three counts of first degree murder, kidnapping and robbery. A fourth suspect, a juvenile, was also arrested in the case.

The Sheriff's Office says additional arrests are possible. Purvis is in jail on a $3 million secured bond.
