A police standoff in Greenville is over after police successfully got a man down from the scaffolding over the railroad tracks.
The road is now open.
Greenville police had to block off Dickinson Ave. at Tenth Street while they responded to a man who was in the scaffolding that holds the railroad lights. He was about 20 feet in the air.
Police say the standoff started around 8 a.m. It last about an hour.
