Pitt County Crash Snags Traffic On Highway 33

A traffic accident slowed traffic on Highway 33 East in Pitt County this afternoon.

The crash happened near the intersection of Avon Road, that's between Greenville and Grimesland, around 12:45 p.m.

Troopers said 77-year-old Earl Marshall Sr., of Grimesland, was traveling north on Avon Road when he didn't stop at a stop sign at Highway 33.
