NEW INFO: Greenville Rucker John's Robber Got Away With $870


Police are continuing the search for a gunman who they say got away with hundreds of dollars after holding up a Greenville restaurant.

Greenville officers said around 10:15 on Monday night, they were called to the Rucker John's restaurant on South Memorial Drive for an armed robbery.

Staff members tell police a 5'10" black man with dreadlocks, wearing a black long sleeve shirt and dark jeans came inside the restaurant with a handgun and robbed the place.

Police reports now show the crook got away with $870 in cash.

While K9 units were called to track the suspect, the trail went cold.

The search for the robber continues.

No injuries were reported in the hold-up.
