The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested 32-year-old Jimmie Ball Jr. of Antler Drive in Washington Sunday after an investigation showed he sold stolen goods to a resale shop.

Ball is charged in two counties now. He's charged in Beaufort County for a September 4th break-in on Taylor Road in Chocowinity. Deputies say he stole welding and fishing equipment from a residence and a shop on the victim’s property. The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office also obtained warrants charging Ball with Obtaining Property by False Pretense for the sale of stolen goods to the Trade It store in Greenville.

Ball's bail was set at $22,750.
