Animal Control Looking For Dog Owner After Woman Bitten At Dog Park

Animal Control officers are looking for the owner of a dog after it bit a woman at an off-leash dog park two weeks ago.

It happened at the Greenville off-leash dog park on River Road March 16th around 3:45 p.m. The woman told officers that after her dog became involved in a fight with another dog she was bitten on the end of her finger as she tried to separate the two.

The owner of the other dog got his pet and left the park.

Animal Control says no charges are being filed, they only want to make contact with the owner to make sure his dog is current on its rabies shots and finish their investigation.

Public safety cameras recorded the man and his two dogs. If you know who the man is you're urged to contact Animal Control at 252-329-4388.
