Crews were called to a crash at the intersection of 5th and Memorial in Greenville Friday about 10 a.m.
Interim Battalion Chief Eric Griffin with Greenville Fire and Rescue tells WITN one of their ambulances was responding to a call and traveling north on Memorial Drive with lights and sirens on..
Griffin says a gray Dodge Intrepid went through the intersection from West 5th Street toward town and hit the ambulance nearly head on.
He reports the car then pushed into the southbound lane of Memorial drive, hitting another car head on.
Three people were inside of the ambulance and were shaken up but not transported, according to Griffin.
Two people, one from each car, were taken by ambulance to Vidant with what appeared to be non life threatening injuries.
