Troopers: Alcohol Related Wreck Lands Four In The Hospital

Alcohol was involved in an accident Sunday night in Pitt county that left four people injured, including two children, troopers said.

A crash was reported on Blackjack-Simpson Road at Herber Hudson Road at 7 p.m. Sunday between a Saturn and a Chevy Pickup. Troopers said four people were taken to Vidant Medical Center, including two children who were in serious condition.

The children were in the Saturn and the driver of that car with face charges of alcohol, troopers said.
