AUTOPSY: Man Stabbed 14 Times At Greenville Park
An autopsy says a man murdered in a Greenville park was stabbed 14 times.
Leroy Staton III was attacked at Jaycee Park back in November. At the time police said the man's death was believed to have been drug related.
The autopsy, obtained by WITN News, says the 36-year-old man was stabbed three times in the head, twice in the abdomen and the rest of the wounds were in his back. A piece of the knife blade was found in the victim's abdomen.
Several weeks after the murder, Jimmy Richardson was charged in the case.
