An autopsy says one of three cousins killed in the Hustle Mart murders was shot in the back of the head.
The autopsy, released yesterday in Chapel Hill, says David Alawi died from a single gunshot wound to the back of the head. It says the bullet's path was directed "moderately downwards" and exited from the neck. The bullet was recovered and was included with the 24-year-old man's body.
Two other employees were also killed in the April 1st triple murder. Autopsies for 26-year-old Nabil Almoganahi and 16-year-old Sam Almoganahi have yet to be released.
Four people have been charged for the murders. The district attorney says he'll seek the death penalty against the three adults, Antwan Anthony of Bethel, Willie Whitehead of Pinetops, and Xavier Shamble of Farmville. A fourth suspect, a 14-year-old, is being handled in juvenile court.
