Greenville police are investigating two business robberies, one where a shot was fired.
The latest robbery happened early Monday morning at the Kangaroo on Arlington Boulevard. Police say around 2:20 a.m. two men came into the store, one who was armed with a black handgun.
The robbers are described as a black man with a dark complexion, wearing a black hat, approximately 5'08-5'10 in height and 200-220 lbs. The second robber is also a black man, 5'08-5'10, 200-220 lbs, with a bald head and long beard. Both were wearing white tee shirts. No one was injured in the holdup.
The other robbery happened late Friday night at the Sonic on Greenville Boulevard. Police say as employees were closing up for the night a masked gunman robbed the business. The robber fired one rifle shot into the air, but no employees were hurt.
The robber is described as 5'6" to 5'7', slender build, wearing all black and carrying an older looking rifle. The race and gender of the person is not known.
