Greenville sounds stuck in the 1970's...

I think what upsets me is that most of these people riding these mopeds are DWI people who have lost their licenses. Why are we allowing them to operate anything out there on the roads. They are getting off scot free, no insurance or tags, but still careless and reckless cause most of them are still drunk! And what is with the mopeds going so fast and riding passengers with no helmets, thought there was a laws to all this??

Anonymous - what is smart is to keep them off the road and possibly save a life. Roads were made for cars and trucks, and even suv's. although they can kill, too, bikes/mopeds/scooters are accidents waiting to happen.

Everyone wants more cars/trucks/suv's on the roads and less bikes/mopeds/scooters...sounds real smart!

I agree they need to crack down on the wheel chairs on the streets. That should not be allowed what so ever. I can't believe they write speeding tickets all the time and do nothing about the mopeds and wheel chairs all over the streets.

Is this moped "pink"? If so I've been behind that moped before and he/she backed up traffic and never obeyed the laws of the road.Sorry to be harsh but if you lose your DL b/c of DWI or some other reason then you should not be allowed on the road operating anything again.

I agree...If it doesn't have license tags, keep it off the road.

I do not understand why they allow motorized vehicles without registration, inspection, and insurance on the road. I hit him - I pay. He hits me - have another beer.

I was coming from Ayden on the back road. A man riding down the rode in a wheelchair. People had to completely stop. They couldn't pass him because of oncoming traffic. That was really dangerously. Wheelchair drivers have no business driving on the roads.

If you don't pay vehicle insurance, they should not be allowed on the road.
