Camping Out In Eastern Carolina For The I-Phone 4

Hot temperatures Thursday didn't keep some Apple I-Phone fans from getting up bright and early to make sure they got the company's latest release.

We spotted ten people at Best Buy in Greenville Thursday morning who were waiting to get the new IPhone 4.

At about 4:20 a.m. the earliest person out said he had been there since 9:30 the night before. Another person, Curtis Grayson, said he had been waiting since midnight. "I knew they were only going to have about 13 to 15 phones and I wanted to make sure I got my phone, so I came on out here to wait around and make sure I got mine."

Apple expects to sell 40-million of the new phones this year.

I gotta agree with Jeff's 1st post. This is just pathetic. These people need to go out and get a "real" life. It's a telephone for crying out loud! Get over it!

It never ceases to amaze me at the stupidity of people! I work in the cell phone business so I can tell you for a fact that the majority of phones when they first come out will have all sorts of problems....and the more technology advanced they are,the more problems you will have...The only reason these insecure people want the first ones is to bolster their own ego by saying, "I got mine first"...Its the most idiotic craze I have ever witnessed...I love techie phones but I would NEVER buy any of them until the bugs have been worked out over a period of time. If it wasn't so pathetic it would be hilarious!!

There are some problems with the phone. A yellow dot in the corner and the loss of reception when you hold the device by the sides. I never buy things like this when they first come out. I wait several months for the bugs to be worked out.

Thats how you know when NC has unemployment going on when people have time to spend the night in a parking lot to get a phone.
