Lieutenant Governor Walter Dalton plans to visit the east Wednesday morning to celebrate a milestone in helping low income parents and their children.
The Lt. Governor and the Chairman of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Of North Carolina Foundation will get an update on Pitt County's national-recognized program called Nurse-Family Partnership.
It's been one year since funds were allocated to help first-time, low-income Pitt County parents and their children.
Dalton will be at the Heart Institute in Greenville for the round-table decision about the Partnership.
