Home Break-In Victims Feel Sense Of Relief

There's a sense of relief for some in Greenville who are among the 43 victims of two men accused of breaking into their homes.

One suspect is behind bars, while police search for the other.

Kelly Tucker lives at the Monticello Court apartments and has had her apartment broken into twice. "My laptop was taken. And I'm a nurse's aid and I have a bookbag for work and they stole that."

The Greenville Police say Tucker - and many other residents of Greenville - can feel a little safer now that officers have arrested Delvin Lawson - and charged him in connection with 43 burglaries in the city, including Tucker's apartment.

Police are still looking for Brandon Person, who is wanted on several related warrants for the burglaries.

Police say Lawson and Person burglarized the homes between August 2009 to April of this year.

Tucker says, "They need to be punished, because I go to work every day. I don't steal from anyone, ever. It does make me feel good that they will see some justice."
