Fatal Car Accident Kills 20-Year-Old Greenville Woman

A 20-year-old woman from Greenville is dead after a car crash late last Tuesday night.

Highway Patrol Troopers say it happened around 11:30 Tuesday night at the intersection of Highway 33 and 42 in Edgecombe county.

Trooper W.R. Bulluck, says 20 year old Monique Dudley left her job in Tarboro for Greenville on Highway 33, when authorities say, she failed to stop at the stop sign.

A truck driven by 48-year-old Leslie Beacham Junior from Williamston was approaching the intersection on Highway 42 when Dudley's car drove in front of him. Trooper Bulluck says she died on impact.

Becham has taken to the hospital with non-life threaten injuries
