I got a 1.0 my first semester at ECU. 1.5 the following. My parents were so upset. But I did graduate after 5 years. What an awesome time in my life!! I don't regret anything.

Oh come on people, remember that the quality of education you receive is in direct proportion to the amount of effort YOU put into it. Regardless of the 'prestige' or 'partying' reputation, you, your department, your advisors make your education. Every school is a party school if that is what you choose to make it. I attended ECU and now work in academics for an Ivy League institution. The caliber of education I received in my degree program at ECU was top notch and I don't regret it for a minute.

Deadfish, YOU dude are the one who worries about other's business too much. Just trying to tell someone how to type on a sports page's comments section is the PERFECT EXAMPLE of being in someone else's business. Think about it dude. If you were not so worried about bashing someone else and stick to YOUR OWN business, then I would have not responded to that first post you sent back to me. Even Bud knows you must be uneducated when it comes to ECU alumni. Besides that, what I am doing now, is what I wanted to do SINCE I WAS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL. Where I wanted to go to college at the whole time was ECU, even though I was encouraged to apply to other schools as well, (got accepted into Wake Forest and UVA). As far as finding that face with a makeover, I'm surprised that no ECU fan/student/alum has done such a thing to you, as much trash as you talk about ECU. As far as campaigning for that, that would be a waste of time.

Sam the talker worrying about other people's business. I noticed a little improvement in your poor writing skills-NOT saying much though considering your constant cheap personal attacks. BTW you would be a failure in the military, WHY? You bellyache too much... NOT to mention you will start throwing your ECU acct. stuff around and the next thing you will find your face with a make over! Maybe that will cure your superiority complex. WHY don't you campaign for less drinking at your beloved Party U? Use the political contacts with all those judges you claim to hang around with...

Deadfish, that's not a cheap attack. That's the truth. Also trust me, I've had plenty of judges I have spoken to in the courtroom over tax issues in the past, and they all fully understand me. To talk all this nonsense about someone you don't even know shows the lack of sense and class. Your posts are the ones that are laughable, with all that negativity, not mine. Perhaps you are one of them that has done nothing good other than being in the military. All that pointless posting is overshadowing what was being done in the military. Do you even have a job? My guess would be no, cause otherwise you would find something good to do with your life instead of always trash talking and acting like a coward.

Sam the accountant: Are your post 3rd, 4th and 5th sentences your best arguments? It's a good thing that you're not a lawyer because judges will have a tough time understanding you and maintaining court room control due to your peculiar jest. Don't talk about anybody's writing when your sentences are very incongruent and laughable. You are so desperate to score a point that you decided to go the cheap personal attack route hoping to gain you any credibility, WHY? It bites you back on your derriere! When the beat goes on...

Deadfish, stop being such a lowlife loser and turn this into a grammar class. Speaking of grammar, what do you expect someone to type in? Latin? Arabic? It obviously is not English, cause I had the proper grammar the whole way. Also someone needs to teach you a lesson on that big mouth of yours without the common sense showing. Say something about N.C. State and stop being so hypocritical about it. You never did that. You are a disgrace to this area dude. You must not have a college education and you must not have a life at all either to devote all your attention to bashing ECU. What a disgrace you are! I dare you to say this in front of the whole ECU student body since you post it up here, or you are a coward otherwise. I dare you to do that boy.

To DK at 4-19 7:51 p.m. most of the ones from the Greenville area are the poor, jealous, and uneducated lowlife thugs that cause 95% of the crime that happens in Greenville, and I'm talking about people who are between downtown and the hospital as well as people just north of the Tar River. I went to ECU, hate all of the ACC schools except Virginia Tech. I'm a successful real estate investor from the beach, and I DO NOT DRINK OR PARTY at all. I'm very close with my lord and savior Jesus Christ. With all this stuff about N.C. State and UNC, I wish we were in another state. I would rather us (Greenville and OBX) be in VA than to be in the same state as Raleigh and Chapel Hill, we would not have such a horrible government and so many people on the UNC or Duke bandwagon all the time. Best case is if East Carolina became the 51st state with Greenville as the capitol.
