There's been another delay for a Pitt County deputy sheriff who is accused of supplying wine to someone underage.
DARE officer Amanda Tyndall was in court Tuesday morning. The District Attorney's Office says when they turned over their case file to the defense, her lawyers sought another delay.
Tyndall is charged with supplying wine to someone who is not old enough to legally drink. The SBI says she allegedly supplied wine to someone under 21 years old at tie breakers in Greenville. According to Pitt county Sheriff Mac Manning no disciplinary action has been taken against her.
Her new trial date is May 18th.
